Hey, thats the reason why I'm trying to do it from scratch... ;)

Currently I use an OO text file to record my steps, can be posted to an wiki later on. For now its simply eayier to maintain.

... does not answer my question from where to get the signing server source code *G* ...

Hi,

well, ok...
1st from where do I get the source of the signing server?

2nd once I have the code I can start to play. VM offers integration for
several pieces of hardware (but no physical serial ports currently...
doh). Ok, but you can map named pipes into virtual machines and then
make two virtual machines use the same named pipe. Which effectively
SHOULD behave as two machines connected with an serial cable or modem.

Have to try it out (once I have an signing server up&running).
Hi Markus,

it would be great if you could record your experiences in a document (wiki page, simple text document, HTML or OpenOffice, just the way you like it) so maybe the next one who tries this might save some hours by learning from you... :-)

Ted
