The repository came in for big discussion here:
https://dev.cacert.cl/wiki/birdshack/Minutes20091216EssenSoftwareMiniTOP
I want to ask a question of the new team (Markus and Andreas):
You will see on that page a wiki, svn etc all supposedly integrated together.
My primary concern right now is those wiki pages -- our already-written doco.
Is your plan one of those:
a) to build a similar setup, with a wiki, etc?
b) to take over that dev.cacert.cl system and expand it?
c) to not provide any wiki, and have it done in SVN/HTML?
d) ?? more exotic options?
I see we are at a juncture between an old team's starting efforts and a new team's new efforts. So this is a good time to decide whether to merge the existing doco into a new location. I can do that if necessary. But the task becomes too big if much more doco is put into that site.
What's your feeling about project management / high level doco for the overall software development project?
(I'd expect all low level doco in the code itself, Javadoc style.)
