It is. A few semesters after I started studying the courses for computer
science were step-by-step adjusted to the new bachelor/master system.
Sometimes just rearranging things, sometimes completely restructuring
courses. The reconfiguration phase was a real mess. I was lucky that I
was not in the last year of diploma students or in one of the first
years of bachelor students. The study thesis has now been transformed
into the bachelor thesis more or less.
I would still say it differs a whole lot from the anglo system. There
are few small groups or labs, most stuff is taught in lectures. You
don't have to be present in a lecture to be able to pass, if you don't
like the lecture you can just skip it, have a coffee and learn it from a
book or the like, it all depends on the performance in exams. Homework
is mandatory only in the first semesters (I think for bachelor students
that changed a little bit with the new model, but master students
usually have no mandatory homework).
And probably there are a lot more of these differences.
