Hello everyone,

the CATS software repository is now moved from the SVN server to GitHub at https://github.com/CAcertOrg/cats. Using GitHub it can be very easy for you to clone a repository and propose changes to the software using GitHub's pull requests.
Of course it's still possible just to send me some modified files, but be sure to tell me which version you used as the basis!

While trying to get comfortable with GitHub I also created a new installation procedure at https://github.com/CAcertOrg/cats/blob/release/INSTALL.txt

If you want to play around with CATS you now just need a LAMP-(Linux/Apache/MySql/PHP)-System, and maybe a GitHub account. The most difficult part probably is to get Apache to request Client certificates, this is described at https://wiki.cacert.org/ApacheServerClientCertificateAuthentication

I'd be quite happy if a some of you would try the installation instructions and tell me how far you got, or where you had difficulties.

Kind regards
Ted
;)
