As you know, this new committee will take some time to get its feet back on ground.  Could you assist us by providing the following two things:

1.  where/what is the licence under which the software was originally provided to CAcert?

2.  Where is the software in use or potentially in use or repo'd by CAcert?

There seem to be a couple of GitHub repos under the CACertOrg organisation which appear to have a copy of the GNU GPLv2 in them. I believe the general school of thought in the Free Software community is that such a licence is a generally-irrevocable general licence to anyone who ever gets their hands on a copy.

That said, the GitHub repos are basically empty, so whether this in any way reflects any software currently in use by CAcert...
