Hi everyone,

recently Dirk Astrath and I were talking about board having too many 
team lead jobs at the moment. We both consider this as a problem, since 
there are some decisions to be made by the software team lead and board 
is notoriously slow to decide anything.

Then, when I asked Dirk whether he could imagine himself as software 
team lead in addition to his other jobs, he did not dodge fast enough... :-)

Now, as already mentioned, Dirk has a lot of other jobs, not the least 
being a member of the board, so I really would prefer someone else to 
take over the job. But if none of you is available, I'd prefer him as 
team lead over having no team lead at all.

Unless I hear about another candidate, or about facts that speak against 
Dirk I'd like to propose board to appoint him as software team lead.

How do you think about that?
