- Subject: Tests needed for new GPG signing algorythm
- Date: Sun, 8 Aug 2021 17:14:06 +0200
Hello everyone,
the proposed fix for <https://bugs.cacert.org/view.php?id=1473> "PGP keys are signed with SHA1" should now be installed on the testserver <https://test.cacert.org>.
We'd need some test reports if this really fixes the problem. Especially if you have some deeper PGP/GPG knowledge, your report will be appreceated!
If you have an account with sufficient access rights on <https://bugs.cacert.org> please post your test report on the bug's page, otherwise send it to this mailing list and someone (probably I) will take care of this.
Note that the testserver does not use "officially signed" certificates, so don't be surprised if you have to add a security exception.
Kind regards
Ted
