To me, the mission remains elusive, that which
Peter might call the M (for Meta?).

I would say (today) that the words that keep appearing are:

   community-based
   security
   services

The reason community-based cannot be eliminated from
the mission - I suspect - is because if the services
in security are not community based, then they can
already be done by the individual.  Or some company
or some other way.

So in a sense the essence shifts to what we can do as
a community to secure our activities.  By incorporating
the "community-based" issue into the mission, this
allows us to avoid anything better done by others.

Today's musings (and trying to keep the mission threat
alive!)
