  Well, I'm not even an associated member, but I think it is a good
idea to have a lawyer helping us with that. If I understood it right,
our 3th parties licence aims to "use it anyway you want, as long as
you don't blame us -not sue us- if something doesn't go as you
expected". Something as the typical "as is" disclaimer some software
uses. But what should be simple to communicate, becomes complex when
it has to be expressed in legal language.

  So, if we have to convince their lawyers, that sounds like a job for
another lawyer.
