Thanks all,

Ulrich did an *unpublished* blog post on this ... but I can't edit or see it. Can someone with blog "privileges" unblock the flow of info, please?

PS: a majority of the new board are minded to shred the current communications policy and open it right up. We just need time to do that, unless someone gets there first.

Folks,

There was a outage of CAcert's sun2 server this about an hour ago after I
requested our critical systems administrators reboot sun2. This server hosted
services from ocsp, email, lists, wiki and blog services.

The server became unresponsive earlier to new ssh connections as a result of
setting up NFS. Existing services were mostly functional though it was prudent
to reboot.

I apologise for the interruption to services.

Thank you Wyzte for answering my call for help and Mendel for undertaking the
reboot and system check. Your assistance is much appreciated and I regret any
inconvenience cause.

Sincerely,
