Hello everyone,
just tested the USB serial to serial cable and just for fun:
/sbin/modprobe usbserial vendor=0x067b product=0x2501
does load the generic USB serial driver and tells it what device it should
support (suprise: the USB serial to serial cable).
Without any config (and with any config) it does transport 62.8kilobyte/sec
which is at least four times faster than the current setup.
The only thing that rests is:
* edit /etc/modules.conf
* edit the client.pl and server.pl and change ttyS0 to ttyUSB0 on the signing
server and the webserver.
Kind regards,
Mendel Mobach
