Hi Markus,
getting PI space is atm not easy. You didn´t get a /24 directly without
reason for any IP within 3 months. But this is needed for a own AS.
I dind´t see a reason at the moment, why cacert.org should getting a
"own" AS or PI space. For getting IPs for a system (or rack) it isn´t
needed that IPs are from a provider independent (PI) space.
When I take a look on the IDL offer, I mean, that 8 IP addresses will be
ok - or will anyone use more than 6 VMs on that little machine?
When IDL sponsors a bigger system (like ibm z10, sun cmt or a blade
center etc), we could request 128 IPs or..... ;)
If you have further questions, send me a mail (german?!) ;)
Regards,
Christopher
