I agree. This would also solve a few other open bugs in bugs.cacert.org on 
the 
application.

so recommend:
1. some parsing of the mail log to show the user it got delivered
2. parse the mailq output for greylisted and other temporary fail message
3. get a mailbox corresponding with the envelope sender with a script that 
will modify a database entry to say there was a delivery failure.
4. altering the application to take note of this
