Guys,

the date of the end-of-life for the Thawte WoT programme has come and gone.

Can someone confirm that the Thawte information is no longer available 
via the Thawte service?  (I'm not interested in extending the programme, 
it's just nice to have that confirmation.)

We need to shutdown the service.  Can we have some advice on how to do 
this?  I am guessing that there are these options:

  * support does some magic trick (what?)
  * sysadm team shut down the webserver or make it unavailable
  * maillist -tverify is stopped
  * tverify team implements "administrative blockage" which is to say 
they promise not to do anything.
  * other?

It might be possibly useful to keep the infrastructure in place while 
Tverify team complete a meta-policy on using the system for other 
CAs/RAs to bring in assurance points.

But, I'd like to hear that advice from the team that is updating the 
policy, and know that good progress is being made.  Otherwise the rest 
of CAcert is exposed to problems / work / potential for confusing points 
/ disputes ... from the no-longer-needed Tverify infrastructure.

(E.g., TTP is off at the moment, and some TTPs slipped through leading 
to disputes being filed.  This is work that could be avoided...)
