Hi all,

I'd like to know if someone has considered SSL-Certificate-Logon to the
CACert IRC-Server. I know that OFTC and Freenode are using it for a while
and seem to drive good with it.

The main benefit is of cause that you don't have to setup an autocommand
for logging in with NickServ, as you are already authorized while you start
the SSL connection via an SSL-Certificate.

Indeed I already use a CACert SSL-Certificate to login with OFTC and
Freenode, despite that also self-signed certificates would work.
