A visit to BIT by Stefan Kooman (secure-u) and Wytze van der Raay
(CAcert) has been scheduled for 14 November 2013 from 17:00 - 18:00
CEST. The purpose of the visit is to replace the CAcert's currently
rather complex switch infrastructure by a single carefully configured
switch, in order to save space and energy *and* to pave the way for
the introduction of a new external firewall later this month.

In order to complete the switch-over to the new switch, *all* internet
connections of CAcert servers, including all internal connections, will
be interrupted for a short period of time. We estimate that the
interruptions will last shorter than 5 minutes, but we cannot totally
rule out somewhat longer interruptions due to unforeseen side effects.
