A visit to BIT by Stefan Kooman (secure-u), Mendel Mobach (CAcert),
Martin Simons (CAcert) and Wytze van der Raay (CAcert) has been
scheduled for 12 December 2013 from 19:00 - 24:00 CET.

The purpose of the visit is to install a new firewall and a new
infrastructure server in a newly allocated rack at BIT, followed
by the move of all existing servers (minus the old firewall) to
this new rack. The internet uplink will also be moved to this
new rack.

This is a rather complex operation, and unfortunately it cannot be
performed without a significant amount of downtime, for *all* CAcert
servers and services. Of course we will strive to keep the downtime
as short as possible, but please be prepared for an outage of 2 to 3
hours of *all* CAcert services.

We will ensure that critical services will be working again on leaving
the hosting center, but in the case of unexpected complications, it is
possible that non-critical services may only be restored the next day.
