I think you're taking this a little bit beyond rational...

I've managed to create 2 (not 1, but 2) fully functional code bases to act as a CA, license or no license I dare say i could do it again if I wanted/needed to, and I'd just like to point out the last one was fully functional in less then a week...

This is not in dispute, Duane. And once again, it shows how discussions over these mediums can lead to misinterpretations.

If we all go blindly saying "yep, sure, you can do that" without actually discussing it, then CAcert will end up being a guttered memory.

Back to my questions which have remained unanswered:
And by assignable, does that mean you are able to sub-license the software?
Would you object to having the code prohibited from being used in any other CA/RA entity?
