I think sponsorship money from NLnet is a factual benefit. And their mission
statement http://www.nlnet.nl/foundation/ mentiones OpenSource.
And now choose one of the two licensing schemes:
Option 1:
Almost all code is written by Duane. It will be open source ... well not
exactly he makes some reservations of how you may use the code and what your
obligations are. However Line 620 ... 653 of file /assure/67.php were
written by Peter who grants you the "Modified BSD license" with the right to
change the licensing scheme some day. Line 25 ... 70 of file /email/106.php
are written by George who grants you the "Boost Software License" however
with the addition that you first have to register on his web site. Greg's
code Line 1001 ... 1010 is not open source at all, but you get a
non-exclusive ritght to use it for the following purpose ... The html code
is contributed by various members who agreed on the following licensing
statement: ....
Option 2:
Author: The individuals who contributed code or text over the time
Copyright: CAcert.org
Licence: GPL for code FDL for content
Which one is more apropriate for CAcert?
Christian
