Just a quick note,
CAcert does not yet have any source code assets. It therefor has no need to select a license.
Once the committee has been formed, and the code given to CAcert, the committee will decide what is best to do with it. They may open the discussion to a wider audience. I think it is best if you have an opinion on the matter, write your opinion down, and your reasons why that is a valid answer and post it at a more relevant time.
Ranting and raving now isn't really going to help much.
